In 2014 SMHR first partnered with the ABC for their first Mental As! campaign, and became a registered charity. The 2014 and 2015 Mental As! campaigns aimed to kick-start a national conversation about mental health and raise funds for mental health research through a week of distinctive programming for Mental Health Week in 2014. Since then SMHR members have run multiple fundraising campaigns to help raise awareness of SMHR and raise funds to support the important work of the society. A few of our past campaigns and partnerships and highlighted below – and don’t forget you can do it too!
